All would have been familiar with this chat program, it did this program called MIRC, mIRC has several features that distinguish it from other IRC clients. One of the more obvious differences is an advanced scripting language itself is further developed with each version. The scripting language can be used to make small changes to the program like custom commands (aliases), but also can be used to actually change the behavior and appearance of mIRC. Another feature that is widely used is mIRC's file sharing abilities, via DCC protocol. It also has a built in file server.
Over the years various other features that often have been proposed by the user has entered. This includes support for multiple server connections, SSL, UTF-8 display support and the option to view the channel list and notify the treebar format than the default switchbar. mIRC is still in active development, but very rarely announced what features will be introduced in the future.
